Been to this place few times. Food is great in general but wait time is a bit of let down. Hope this can be improved. Service can be hit and miss if manager isn't around. Otherwise, good place for a drink or dine.

A really great café /restaurant! They seem to have got every detail right. How refreshing ! Nothing seemed to be any trouble to the friendly staff. 6 of us dined for lunch; the menu has a wide range & everyone’s meal was hot, fresh, generous & exactly as described. Good range of beverages, & also yumm desserts (done better than most). Lovely atmosphere & tables aren’t jammed on top of each other -conversation easy.Prices reasonable. (Plus it was a very hot day but the temp was fine inside). We all had an enjoyable time. This place deserves to do well 🙂

Suburban gem !! The chef must have worked at 5-star restaurants 😍, great contemporary Aussie menu with nice choice of local wine, fresh steamed veggies, salad, black Angus 300g steak (just $28 aud, I thought there was a typo on the menu!! ) and the extremely tender calamari were amazing. The steak was medium (I asked for medium rare) but tender and v meaty. Sophie’s friendly service is the real highlight, she reminds me of the authentic Australian hospitality which is so endearing. Matilda and the new owners came to our desk and said say Hi. Memorable experience!!

Just had a lovely lunch here. Feels fresh , friendly and relaxed. Coffee excellent and calamari cooked to perfection (always a good test 😉)
Think this will now become one of our favourite places for coffee, lunch ( brunch coming soon apparently 👍) dinner. Also just booked our Work Christmas party in the mezzanine level. Can’t wait!

Great spot near the station! The signature steak was perfectly seared outside and juicy inside, and the handmade meatballs with a slightly sweet and tangy sauce were super flavorful. The cozy, vintage vibe and a refreshing cocktail made it a perfect lunch stop!
